The Following articles can be provided to your End Users to walkthrough the Social Media authorization process to archiving after receiving the authorize email.

Users Provisioned for Social Media Archiving will receive an authorization email to complete the authorization process for archiving.

This email sometimes gets sent to Spam or Junk folders, and the Subject line will read "Activation Required: Smarsh Social Media Archiving."

If the end user does not complete the opt-in process, Smarsh cannot capture data.

Note: Smarsh will NOT post on any user's behalf. The opt-in process may ask end-users to approve "post on behalf" permissions to enable social media archiving.
For more information, see: Do I have to give all permissions requested to be able to archive Facebook?

If you have questions regarding the Social Media authorization steps and process, please reach out to your Company Administrator.
