Prerequisites

How to add a Social Media Content Type not listed on the Connections Page

Steps

  1. Log in to Professional Archive  app.smarsh.com.
  2. Select Hamburger icon image.png in the top left > Connections.  
  3. Find the name of the User whose social media profile you wish to provision.
Note: You must use an active User account in Professional Archive to provision a social media account.
Note: Adding or updating social media channels for multiple users, message will show if users are selected on another page, select 'X' to clear selections if not intending to add channel to selected users. 
  1. Select the check box next to the User's name.

  1. Select Manage > Manage Social from the button at the top of the screen.

  1. Choose one or more social media connections to provision.
  2. Click the + Add button.

A new provisioning request is created in Professional Archive, and the User will be notified via email that they must authorize the social media connection to Smarsh to begin archiving:
