How to Provision a New Social Media Account

Steps

  1. Log in to Professional Archive  app.smarsh.com.
  2. Select Menu icon image.png in the top left > Connections.  
  3. Find the name of the User whose social media profile you wish to provision.
    •  If you do not see the name of the user listed, you can click the New at the top of the list and follow the instructions below to create a new user account: How to create new User Accounts
Note: Adding or updating social media channels for multiple users, message will show if users are selected on another page, select 'X' to clear selections if not intending to add channel to selected users. 
  1. Select the check box next to the User's name.
  2. Select Manage from the button at the top of the screen.
    1. Note: If you're also archiving Verizon you'll need to select Manage Social after clicking Manage.
  3. Choose one or more social media connections to provision.
  4. Click the + Add button. 

NOTE:
If the user also needs to archive a Company Page, and not just a user profile for social media, they will need Company Provisioning enabled.

A new provisioning request is sent from the Professional Archive to the end user being provisioned.

The End Used MUST follow the steps to opt-in to social media archiving or we will not be able to capture data.
